Check your local community selling or gifting sites, and Facebook Marketplace. Many people are looking to give away their piano for free. 

No, placing stickers on the instrument can hinder a child's learning. If needed, a single sticker on Middle C may help orient your child at the piano. 

Yes and no, but regardless, please always use a pencil. Avoid writing in all the letters for each note. If you have troublesome note, it’s okay to label that one note.  

If you break one string, you will need a full set of new strings. See the Music Tools page for more information. Ms. Jenny offers string changes for a $10 flat fee, strings not included. Or YouTube has a variety of string change tutorials.

Obtaining your own instrument is crucial to your progress, however, budgetary constraints shouldn’t keep you from learning. Most children can begin lessons and use a children’s one-octave piano, a foot piano, or a piano app on a phone or tablet. 

For adults, I offer a $5 rental fee, for a 30-minute session to practice at my home on my piano. These would be arranged on non-lesson days. Ms. Jenny does not provide any instruction, simply access to the piano.
